Bakersfield Car Crash on Highway 99, White Lane (6/30/25)
A minor-injury crash caused traffic congestion on southbound Highway 99 near the White Lane off ramp in Bakersfield on Monday morning. The accident involved three vehicles, including a white BMW SUV, a black sedan, and a gray Ford Fusion. Although initial reports suggested a female driver was briefly trapped in the sedan, injuries were later confirmed to be minor. Emergency responders, including fire crews and medical teams, attended the scene. Fleet Services towed the damaged BMW, and the vehicles were swiftly removed from the highway. While the cause of the crash is still being investigated, both the California Highway Patrol and Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident.
