
Autopsy shows NAIA car crash victims died from blunt force injuries
The Philippine National Police - Aviation Security Group (AVSEGROUP) has identified the cause of death of the two individuals involved in the car accident at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in Pasay City. According to AVSEGROUP, autopsy results revealed that the 29-year-old victim passed away due to blunt force trauma to the head and spinal cord. His body is currently in Hagonoy, Bulacan for his funeral services. Similarly, the minor victim, who also sustained blunt force trauma to the head and left lower extremities, is now in Lipa City, Batangas for funeral arrangements. The incident occurred when a 47-year-old man from Batangas drove an SUV into the Departure West Curbside Area of NAIA Terminal 1. Two casualties were reported in the accident, while others sustained injuries of varying degrees. The suspect was apprehended by personnel from NAIA Police Station 1. Despite negative results from alcohol and drug tests, the suspect faces charges of reckless imprudence leading to homicide, multiple injuries, and property damage. AVSEGROUP has pledged to uphold justice with the support of legal measures and continuous collaboration with relevant authorities. The father of the deceased child is striving for accountability, expressing grief over the loss of his daughter. Danmark Masongsong, an overseas Filipino worker, reminisces about his four-year-old daughter, Malia, who tragically lost her life. Another victim, 29-year-old Dearick Faustino, was bound for Dubai when the incident occurred at NAIA. During his wake in Hagonoy, Bulacan, his loyal pet dog Blue remained faithfully by his side.
