Authorities probing deadly accident with tardy plane in Nebraska.
Two individuals were discovered deceased at the site of an overdue aircraft crash near Kearney, authorities confirmed. Responders located the crash northeast of Kearney with the help of drones from the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office and Kearney Police Department around 10:07 a.m. The Federal Aviation Administration had reported the missing aircraft en route to Kearney Regional Airport, which had lost contact with the plane at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. The two occupants of the aircraft were unfortunately found dead at the crash site. The investigation is being conducted by various agencies including the Buffalo County Attorney's Office, FAA, and National Transportation Safety Board.
