A crash in Aurora involving a car and a motorcycle resulted in three individuals being hospitalized. The intersection of East Smoky Hill Road and South Buckley Road was temporarily closed following the incident. Aurora police were notified of the crash shortly before 1 p.m. The injured individuals suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to a spokesperson from the Aurora Police Department. By 1:45 p.m., Buckley Road had reopened, and East Smoky Hill Road followed suit around 3 p.m. Investigators reported at around 5:30 p.m. that the motorcyclist involved in the crash had turned left without having the right of way, prompting further investigation to determine if any charges or citations will be issued to the motorcyclist.
