Asbury man dies in fatal Jasper County crash
A tragic incident in Jasper County, Missouri took the life of a man from Asbury. The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that on August 1st, at 10:30 p.m., a 50-year-old driver veered off County Road 260, causing his vehicle to overturn and eject him. He was taken to a hospital in Joplin but unfortunately did not survive his injuries. This marks the 70th fatality for 2025 in Troop D's jurisdiction.
