Arrest made in fatal wrong-way crash incident

Keoma Duarte, who is held responsible for a deadly collision in Massachusetts involving driving in the wrong direction, now faces charges in New Hampshire as well. New Hampshire State Police have detained Duarte, a resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The incident claimed the life of Endicott College police Sgt. Jeremy Cole, a native of Exeter.Troopers reported that Duarte originally traveled north on I-95 in Hampton, then mistakenly entered a liquor store parking lot and proceeded the wrong way on the highway before the crash occurred on I-95 in Newbury, Massachusetts. Massachusetts prosecutors alleged that Duarte was under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
