Arrest made in deadly 2024 crash on I-376 in Pittsburgh
A man from Pitcairn, Allegheny County, was arrested Monday in connection with a fatal crash on the Parkway East.(Previous video above: Deadly crash on I-376)The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office said Jordan Bowyer, 24, was the driver of a vehicle that crashed on I-376 in September 2024. A 20-year-old passenger was killed, and another passenger was injured.A Pennsylvania State Police report at the time said that the vehicle struck a guardrail near Exit 72B (Boulevard of the Allies).An arrest warrant was issued Saturday, following an investigation by state police. The sheriff's office said Bowyer was taken into custody at his home.An online docket showed that Bowyer is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges that include homicide by vehicle and DUI.Download the WTAE app to stay connected with breaking news.
