Arrest Made in Crash Resulting in Death of Six-Year-Old
An Indiana woman, Dorothy J Snell of Hanover, has been arrested following an investigation by the Indiana State Police Sellersburg District. The incident occurred on May 13, 2025, when Snell, allegedly driving under the influence with two children in her car, ran a red light and caused a two-car crash in Scott County. Tragically, her 6-year-old daughter was killed in the crash due to not being properly secured in a child safety seat. Snell faces multiple charges as authorities determined her blood alcohol concentration was above the legal limit. She was taken into custody on July 30 and her bond has been set at $250,000, full cash only.
