Arrest made after stolen car crash in Tukwila
A woman was arrested following a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle in Tukwila on Monday morning. Police in Tukwila were alerted by Des Moines police about the pursuit, which had entered Tukwila city limits. The officers from both departments chased the car along Southcenter Blvd. To stop the car, the police deployed a spike strip and then performed a tactical maneuver that caused the stolen vehicle to flip and land in the parking lot of Arco AM/PM gas station. The driver, an adult woman, was taken into custody, and thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
