Arrest made after fatal car crash injures two
Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers responded to a car collision on E Platte Avenue in the early hours of Sunday morning. The vehicle, traveling eastbound, veered off the road and struck a tree. Tragically, one woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital. The CSPD Major Crash Team is leading the investigation into the incident, with alcohol suspected to have played a role. Jayden Hendricks has been taken into custody in connection with the crash.
