Arrest in Fatal I-35 Temple Traffic Accident - KWKT
In Temple, Texas, a fatal traffic accident occurred on southbound Interstate 35 in Bell County, resulting in one person's death. Temple Police responded to the scene near Exit #298 and found an individual who had been hit by an 18-wheeler while attempting to cross the highway. The driver, 32-year-old Jesus Ivan Garcia, initially failed to stop but later cooperated with authorities. Garcia, from Laredo, has been arrested for Failure to Stop and Render Aid Involving Personal Injury or Death. The deceased individual was confirmed on scene by Justice of the Peace Rosanne Fisher, and no other injuries were reported.
