Arkansas State Police: Rogers man dies after leaping from I-49 bridge
A young man from Rogers tragically lost his life on Friday after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 49 close to Exit 82, as confirmed by the Arkansas State Police. Reports from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety indicate that the victim, Hutton Mitchell, leaped from the Belleview Road overpass and landed on the roof of a car traveling southbound. Subsequently, Mitchell fell from the vehicle and onto the center lane, where he was struck by another southbound vehicle. This incident occurred around 6:25 p.m., as per ASP. Fortunately, no other injuries were documented, and Mitchell's remains were transferred to the Benton County Coroner's Office. Authorities have disclosed that the investigation into the matter is still in progress.
