Anthony Joshua released from hospital after accident, Nigerian officials report

The Lagos state commissioner for information confirmed that Joshua and his mother paid their respects at a funeral home in Lagos for the two deceased friends. The accident has sparked concerns about road safety in Nigeria, a country where accidents are all too common. Last year alone, Nigeria reported over 9,500 road accidents resulting in more than 5,400 fatalities, highlighting the urgent need for improved safety measures. Joshua, a former heavyweight champion, is now focused on recuperating from the crash as he aims to pursue future boxing opportunities.
