Air India flight forced to return due to 'technical problem' following recent fatal crash
An Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner had to return to Hong Kong shortly after takeoff due to a technical issue, just days after a fatal crash involving the airline. The flight, AI315, was en route to New Delhi but turned back as a precautionary measure. The aircraft, which is seven years old, safely landed back in Hong Kong, where it underwent checks. Air India's Chairman emphasized the importance of using last week's crash as a catalyst for building a safer airline. Following the crash of flight AI171, the airline expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the 241 passengers and crew members who tragically lost their lives.
