
Admission of alcohol consumption before fatal crash in Las Vegas: report
According to the latest report, Edward Dukes, aged 28, was apprehended after a collision that resulted in the tragic death of motorcyclist Joshua Yokley, aged 43. The incident occurred as Dukes was exiting the Santa Fe Station casino, having consumed some alcohol. Allegedly, Dukes' vehicle collided with Yokley on Lone Mountain Road, resulting in Yokley being thrown from his motorcycle. Despite efforts to save him, Yokley passed away at University Medical Center later that day. Dukes admitted to consuming alcohol while at the casino, according to legal documents. As a precaution, Dukes was also taken to UMC for tests, which he reportedly did not pass, including a breathalyzer and field sobriety examination. Dukes is currently in custody at the Clark County Detention Center, with bail set at $250,000, as the judge deemed him a potential threat to the public.
