Addison Meadows: Driver Hunter Myers severely injured in race crash

Driver Hunter Myers is currently in critical condition at a Pittsburgh hospital after being injured in a multiple-horse accident during the 11th race at The Meadows on Wednesday afternoon. Myers was driving Always B Royalty when he was thrown from the bike due to a chain reaction spill caused by leader Uptown Callie. The accident affected a total of five horses and drivers. While the other drivers and horses involved suffered minor injuries, Myers' condition is more severe. Races scheduled for Thursday and Friday at The Meadows have been canceled in light of the incident. Myers, an Ohio native with a background in horse racing, has an impressive track record with 2,450 victories and is a regular participant in races at The Meadows and MGM Northfield Park.
