Accidents in Dubois County due to initial snowfall
The recent snowfall in Warrick and Dubois County has resulted in challenging conditions for drivers, as reported by local authorities. Officials responded to the first call about accidents on Monday morning at 5:46 a.m. ET, specifically on U.S. 231 between Huntingburg and Jasper. Reports of icy roads have been made, leading to slick and unsafe driving conditions, according to the Dubois County Sheriff's Office. Deputies have been on-site managing the accidents, with Indiana State Police announcing the closure of I-64 between the 62-mile and 75-mile markers due to a crash. Additionally, a jackknifed semi has forced the closure of I-64 eastbound near the 51.5-mile marker.
