'Accidental winner: Jafar Panahi's film awarded top prize at Sydney Film Festival'
The 72nd Sydney Film Festival recently ended, and Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi was awarded the prestigious Sydney Film Prize for his movie "It Was Just An Accident." This film had also previously received the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Jafar Panahi's win at Sydney comes with a prize of AUD$60,000 ($38,888), and the jury praised the film as bold and innovative.
