Accident on I-94 in Racine County; Northbound lanes shut down
A section of I-94 in Racine County is currently closed due to an accident that occurred on Saturday, November 8th. The Racine County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to a situation where a person had parked their vehicle on the shoulder of the highway and was struck by a passing vehicle. Details on the condition of the individual are not available at this time. Traffic heading northbound on I-94 is being rerouted off the freeway at County Highway K, redirected onto the frontage road, and then allowed to re-enter I-94 at County Highway G. Another accident in the southbound lanes is also causing delays, as reported by Wisconsin 511.
