Accident on I-85N in Spartanburg Co causes lane closures.
A tragic accident resulted in the closure of all northbound lanes on Interstate 85 in Spartanburg County, S.C. early Tuesday morning. Authorities, including the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office, responded to the crash near mile marker 60 in Greer. The South Carolina Department of Transportation reported that the lanes remained shut down for several hours before reopening around 6 a.m. The cause of the crash remains unknown, and the victim(s) have not been identified by the Coroner's Office.
