Accident closes section of I-4 in Orlando at Conroy Road
A serious accident has caused the closure of some westbound lanes on I-4 near the Conroy Road exit in Orlando. Emergency responders arrived at the scene just before 2 a.m. on Monday morning. Orlando Police Department reported that a vehicle caught on fire and two individuals were involved in the crash. As a result, drivers heading west of downtown Orlando are advised to take the I-4 westbound express lanes. The nearest access point to these lanes before the incident occurred was located near Michigan Street. Those who opt not to utilize the express lanes will be redirected off I-4 at Conroy Road. While two left lanes have been reopened, the situation is still developing.
