Accident cleared after major accident inbound on Hwy 225 at Independence
HOUSTON (CW39) - UDPATE: REOPENED AT 8:30 A.M. A crash had shut down all mainlanes on the westbound side of State Highway 225 at SH-134 Independence, according to the Houston TranStar. The one vehicle accident happened at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning, impacting traffic with backup building up to Hwy 146. Traffic cameras in the area showed significant backups stretching along SH-225 as drivers are forced to slow down or stop approaching the scene. All westbound main lanes were impacted. No additional details about injuries have been released at this time.
