A collision between a car and a tractor-trailer led to the closure of a section of southbound Orange Blossom Trail on Wednesday. The incident occurred early that morning at the junction of Orange Blossom Trail and Consulate Drive near Florida's Turnpike, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. A Honda Accord turning left to head north on Orange Blossom Trail struck the tractor-trailer's left side, igniting both vehicles. Emergency services transported two individuals to HCA Hunter's Creek and one to Orlando Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The intersection at Orange Blossom Trail and Consulate Drive is presently shut down for the road to be cleared, as investigations into the crash continue.
