A sergeant in Gallatin County dies in a hunting accident.
The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office announced the passing of longtime detention sergeant, Michael Flohr, in a hunting accident. Flohr was found deceased on Saturday afternoon in Magpie Gulch in Broadwater County. The Broadwater County Sheriff’s Office attended the scene. The Gallatin County Sheriffs Office described Flohr as an outstanding leader, officer, husband, father, and friend, and expressed their support for his family. Flohr’s contributions to public safety as a stalwart presence at the Gallatin County Detention Center were highly valued.
