9 hospitalized, 2 critical after I-35 crash in Denton County
Nine individuals, two in critical condition, were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision on northbound I-35 near Milam Road, just north of Denton, as reported by local police. Emergency crews and six ambulances quickly responded to the incident around 12:45 p.m. A CBS News Texas Chopper captured footage of the involved vehicles, including a passenger van. Authorities issued a warning of prolonged delays, urging drivers to steer clear of the area and find alternate routes. The closure duration is uncertain as investigations are ongoing. This is the second significant crash on I-35 managed by Denton police in as many days, with an earlier fatal incident involving an RV and six other vehicles resulting in one fatality and six injuries near Vintage Boulevard on Tuesday.
