74-year-old dies in Farmington traffic crash
FARMINGTON, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) -- A 74-year-old man was killed in Farmington Friday morning after a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash. According to a release from Farmington Police Department the man, who was in an electric wheelchair, was hit by a car shortly after 9:30 a.m. Friday morning in an intersection. Police say the car had a green light at the time of the incident, and investigators have determined the man crossed "against the pedestrian control sign." The man has not been identified at this time. The driver remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with police, according to the release. This incident is still under investigation.
