7-year-old girl discharged from hospital following serious injuries in fatal sailboat incident near Miami Beach

A 7-year-old girl who was critically injured in a tragic sailboat accident near Miami Beach has been discharged from the hospital and reunited with her family, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. The accident took place on July 28 when a barge hit the sailboat carrying a teenage counselor and five girls participating in a summer sailing camp organized by the Miami Yacht Club. Tragically, 13-year-old Erin Ko and 7-year-old Mila Yankelevich lost their lives in the incident, while a 10-year-old girl remains in critical condition.
