7 fatalities in tour van accident close to Yellowstone
A tragic collision occurred near Yellowstone National Park as a pickup truck and tour van crashed, resulting in the loss of seven lives and injuries to eight others, according to Idaho State Police as reported by the Associated Press. The accident took place close to Henry's Lake State Park in eastern Idaho, about 16 miles west of Yellowstone. Both vehicles caught fire post-collision, leading to the driver of the pickup truck and six individuals inside the van losing their lives. The passenger van was carrying a group of 14 people. Those surviving were promptly taken to hospitals for treatment. Authorities are still in the process of notifying the families of the victims and investigating the cause of the accident. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed at this time.
