69-year-old woman killed in North Fork collision
A tragic incident occurred in North Fork, California, as a 69-year-old woman lost her life following a collision with a pickup truck on October 1. California Highway Patrol officers were called to the scene at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Road 200, just west of Quail Creek Road. The woman was driving an eastbound 2008 Honda Accord on Road 200 when she veered into the westbound lane and crashed into a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup driven by a 75-year-old man. Sadly, the woman did not survive her injuries, while the 75-year-old man suffered significant injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the tragic accident.
