60-year-old victim of Fresno collision identified
The Fresno County Coroner's Office has named William Haywood as the individual who tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle in Fresno. The incident occurred late Saturday night on Blackstone Avenue near Saginaw Way. Upon arrival around 11:15 p.m., officers found Haywood in the street, having sustained serious injuries from the collision. Unfortunately, he did not survive. The driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and is working with authorities on the investigation.
