5 dead after fatal crash on Florida's Turnpike in Osceola County
Florida State Troopers are currently on the scene of a fatal crash on Florida's Turnpike in Osceola County Sunday evening where 5 people have been confirmed dead and multiple others have been airlifted from the scene with injuries, officials say. The crash occurred on Florida's Turnpike northbound at mile marker 211 in Kenansville closing all northbound lanes. Troopers says that this may be a single car crash involving a 2004 E-350 van that appeared to have rolled over and has damage on both sides. This investigation is still unfolding so troopers expect to keep at least one lane closed for the throughout much of the evening. Traffic is being diverted off at exit 193 (State Road 60).
