4 airlifted after critical crash in Lafayette County, MS
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Four people were left injured after a car crash in Lafayette County, Mississippi, Saturday night, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say they responded to a crash involving a vehicle that was off the roadway with multiple injuries alongside County Road 313 around 7:30 p.m. The Lafayette County Fire Department and Baptist Priority Ambulance Service were also called to the scene. The four people found in the crash were all suffering from critical injuries and had to be airlifted to the hospital. Three of them were taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. The other one was taken to Regional One Health in Memphis. It is still unclear what caused the crash, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
