36-year-old man dies in Arlington after car veers into ditch
The Arlington Police Department is currently looking into a tragic accident that took place early Sunday morning, resulting in the passing of a 36-year-old male individual. At about 2:37 a.m. on September 14, 2025, officers were called to the scene of a single-car crash in the 2600 block of W. Green Oaks Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found a 2015 Chevrolet Impala in a drainage ditch, and the driver, the 36-year-old man, had been thrown from the vehicle. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased due to his injuries. Investigations indicate that the Impala was heading north on W. Green Oaks Blvd when the driver struck the median, causing the car to flip multiple times and land in the ditch. The authorities suspect that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The case is still under investigation, and the name of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
