3 taken to hospital after 2-vehicle accident on I-79

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Three people were taken to the hospital for further treatment after a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 79 in Harrison County early Monday morning. According to the Harrison County 911 log departments were alerted to the accident at 5:07 a.m. Information is limited, but a Harrison County 911 official told 12 News that the accident took place at mile marker 127.5 on I-79 near the Marion County line. Three people were transported from the scene by ambulance. The extent of their injuries and what hospital they were taken to is unknown. Anmoore, Bridgeport and Harrison EMS, along with the Bridgeport Fire Department and the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, responded to this incident.
