3 people injured in brawl, gunshots near gym in Sacramento area
A person was taken into custody after an incident involving a collision, shooting, and altercation near a gym in the Arden-Arcade area on Thursday evening. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office reported that the event occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the 24 Hour Fitness on Fulton Avenue close to Hurley Way. Sacramento Metro Fire, which also responded to the location, described the occurrence as a "violent crime assault following a vehicle accident." The crash happened first, resulting in one person suffering critical injuries. When emergency services arrived, a fire engine was targeted by gunfire, but fortunately, no crew members were harmed. Another victim was wounded in a shooting and was in critical condition, while a third person was hurt during a subsequent physical altercation. These three individuals were treated at the scene before being taken to nearby hospitals. Two suspects were taken into custody, although no further information about them was provided. The circumstances surrounding the shooting and collision are currently being investigated by authorities.
