3 injured in multiple semi-truck collision on I-90
Early Monday morning in Lake County, Ohio, three individuals were hospitalized following a collision involving two semi-trucks and a tow truck. The incident occurred on Interstate 90 East near State Route 44 in Concord Township. A Freightliner commercial truck struck an international commercial truck while attempting a U-turn, leading to a subsequent collision with a tow truck. The Freightliner and the international commercial truck caught fire, causing non-life-threatening injuries to all involved. Alcohol is not believed to have played a role in the crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
