3 dead in Milwaukee crash; driver arrested
A police pursuit in Milwaukee resulted in a tragic collision at the intersection of 35th and Vliet, claiming the lives of three innocent victims and injuring two others in the targeted vehicle. Friends and family, including Samuel Htoo, are grieving the loss of the mother and two children who were killed in the wreck. Htoo emphasized the need for change and highlighted the devastating impact of reckless actions leading to loss of innocent lives. The 19-year-old driver who fled from the police was arrested and also sustained injuries in the crash, along with two other occupants in the vehicle. Mayor Cavalier Johnson attributed the crash to reckless driving and argued that reducing police pursuits is not the solution, emphasizing the need for accountability. Criminal charges will be pursued by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in connection with the incident.
