28-year-old dies in two-car accident on Rt. 40 in Fayette County

A 28-year-old man passed away due to a collision between two vehicles on Route 40 in Fayette County on Wednesday evening. Fayette County Coroner Bob Baker confirmed the unfortunate incident occurred outside Hopewood before 7 p.m. Michael Duritsky Jr., 28, from Addison, Pa, was identified as the deceased individual. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured. Local news station, Action News 4, had a team at the scene where a tractor-trailer was spotted on the side of the road. An ambulance was observed leaving the location while Pennsylvania State Police began their investigation. It was not specified if the tractor-trailer was part of the collision.
