26-year-old man killed in deadly crash on South Academy Boulevard
A crash took place on July 29 along South Academy Boulevard involving a 26-year-old man named Matthew Campbell who was speeding when another vehicle pulled out in front of him at Pace Drive. Campbell was rushed to the hospital following the crash, during the morning rush hour, and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on July 31. This incident marks the 33rd traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year, surpassing last year's total of 32 deaths at this time.
