22-year-old New Jersey man dies in Garden State Parkway accident on Christmas Eve: authorities
A 22-year-old man lost his life in a fatal accident on the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge Township on Christmas Eve, as reported by the New Jersey State Police. The driver, identified as Li Wei Lin from Elizabeth, was driving a Honda that veered off an entrance ramp, colliding with a guardrail. Subsequently, the Honda ended up perpendicular to traffic in the northbound lanes, resulting in another collision with a Lexus SUV driven by a 57-year-old woman. The sequence of events continued with the Honda hitting a concrete barrier, bringing it to a stop, and a Ram pickup truck driven by a 74-year-old man ultimately colliding with the Lexus. Unfortunately, Lin succumbed to his injuries. The woman was unharmed and the other man sustained minor injuries in the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
