20th anniversary of deadly helicopter crash at Lake Natoma celebrated by Sacramento County Sheriff's Office
Earlier this week, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office commemorated the 20th anniversary of a tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Deputies Kevin Blount and Joseph Kievernagel. The incident, which occurred on July 13, 2005, also left Deputy Eric Henrikson critically injured. In honor of the fallen deputies, Henrikson shared his recollections of the crash in a new video released by the Sheriff's Office. Despite not being able to remember the actual event due to his injuries, Henrikson expressed his determination to ensure that the sacrifices made by Blount and Kievernagel are never forgotten.
