20-year-old motorcyclist killed in St. Petersburg accident
A tragic incident in St. Petersburg on Wednesday resulted in the death of a motorcyclist after an accident at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North. Reports from St. Pete police indicate that a 20-year-old man on a Suzuki dirt bike attempted to pass other vehicles by using the bicycle lane and ultimately collided with a Ford F-150 turning at the intersection. The motorcyclist was transported to St. Anthony's Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Fortunately, the driver of the pickup truck involved in the collision stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities.
