2 suspects apprehended, 1 fugitive after stolen U-Haul collides with police vehicle, wrecks on I-75
Police in Dayton, Ohio are currently looking for a suspect who was driving a stolen U-Haul truck on Interstate 75 south of the city on Tuesday evening. The pursuit of the stolen truck started in Moraine around 4:09 p.m. and ended when the U-Haul crashed into the grass on the side of the highway after hitting police vehicles and stop sticks. At least two people have been arrested, with one individual taken to the hospital due to injuries. Law enforcement authorities from various jurisdictions, including the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, are involved in the search for the remaining suspect. Additional resources like drones, K-9s, and helicopters are being used in the search efforts. Drivers in the area are advised to proceed with caution and watch out for law enforcement. Traffic delays of up to 40 minutes are being reported on southbound I-75 through Moraine as of 5:45 p.m.
