A recent update on Oct. 14 at 9:30 p.m. reveals that one individual sustained life-threatening injuries and another is in critical condition from the incident. Reportedly, a vehicle stopped unexpectedly in the middle lane at mile marker 127, leading to a rear-end collision. Both drivers involved were taken to a nearby hospital. Authorities are working diligently to restore normal traffic flow. The original story indicated that all northbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 127 had been closed due to a collision with injuries. Traffic is being rerouted at Exit 127, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. The Scott County Judge/Executive Office anticipates a four-hour closure period for the affected roadway.
