2 people on a riding lawn mower killed in mid-Michigan in vehicle collision
Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident in Birch Run on Friday evening when a truck collided with the riding lawn mower they were on, as reported by Michigan State Police. The incident occurred on Gera Road around 10:15 p.m. The victims, a 34-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, were trying to cross the road when a Ford F-150 struck their vehicle, resulting in both being thrown from the mower. Unfortunately, they passed away at the scene. The driver of the Ford, a 43-year-old man from Mount Morris, Michigan, was unharmed and has been assisting authorities in their investigation. The deceased pair were residents of the vicinity where the tragic crash occurred, confirmed law enforcement.
