
2 people fishing on bridge pulled from water after crash
Two people were pulled from the water under the Hanover Street Bridge after a crash Monday afternoon.Baltimore police told 11 News that officers were called around 4:12 p.m. to the 2400 block of Hanover Street for a crash, where a witness said two people were in the water. City police said officers went under the bridge, where they found two people on the rocks, out of the water.The witness told officers that the two people were fishing on the bridge when a vehicle hit a parked car, causing one of the people on the bridge to be knocked into the water.The second person then dove in and saved the first person, and other witnesses helped pull both people out of the water.Both people were taken to hospitals for evaluations. The driver of the vehicle was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
