2 people airlifted after a head-on crash near White
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Two people were airlifted after a head-on collision in Brookings County Tuesday. According to the Brookings County Sheriff's Office, around 2:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to a head-on collision between two vehicles, a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan and a 2013 Honda Civic, on Highway 30. When responders arrived on scene, they began to render aid to individuals in each vehicle. Avera Careflight and Sanford Airmed were requested to the scene for the driver and passenger of the Honda Civic. The driver of the Volkswagen Tiguan was transported to the Hendricks Minnesota Hospital with unknown injuries. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the scene and the crash is still under investigation.
