2 injured, including officer, in crash closing Man O War at rush hour
LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A portion of Man O War Boulevard was shut down just before rush hour on Thursday, May 15, according to the Lexington Traffic Management Center (LTMC) Lexington police said it happened around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Crosby Drive. FOX 56 crews on the scene tell us a police vehicle was involved in the crash. The LTMC called it an "injury collision." The involved officer reportedly suffered minor injuries, the Lexington Fire Department said. Another driver was also taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. Officials say that Crosby Drive at Tanbark Road is also closed. All traffic on the outer loop of Man O War Boulevard was diverted to Tates Creek Road, and the roadway has since reopened.
