
2 girls seriously hurt in Aston Township, PA after car hits electric scooter, police report
Two young girls were seriously hurt when a car collided with the electric scooter they were riding in Aston Township, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred on Saturday near the intersection of Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road, just after 2:15 p.m. Aston Township police reported that emergency responders found the girls with life-threatening injuries at the scene. They were given medical assistance before being taken to Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware for further treatment. The girls remain in critical condition as of Sunday evening. The driver involved in the collision is cooperating with authorities, and no charges have been pressed. While Lehr Boulevard was temporarily closed for emergency response and investigation, it has since been reopened. The Aston Township Police Department and Delaware County Accident Reconstruction Team are continuing to look into the details of the accident.
