
2 dead after vehicle crash in Santa Teresa
On Tuesday, April 15, reports of a vehicle accident in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, came in shortly before 9 a.m. The United States Northern Command (NORTHCOM) was able to confirm that two service members were killed, and one was left in critical condition following the accident. "Three service members deployed in support of Joint Task Force Southern Border were involved in a vehicle accident," NORTHCOM said in a statement, confirming that all three members were service members.According to a report from ABC News, Tuesday's accidents are known to be the first fatalities associated with the United States military's mission along the border with Mexico that have been disclosed.
